Tripod
When Suzanne Amberg, her husband and two children came to visit the Bastrop County Animal Shelter on October 15, 2011, she thought that she was just coming to make a donation and volunteer
for a few hours. The thought of meeting a new family member never crossed her mind.
That is, until the Ambergs met Tripod, a beautiful three-legged dog with gorgeous eyes that can just make you melt. As soon as they met, it was love at first sight! It was very obvious
that Tripod immediately formed a bond with the family and it just was meant to be.
The family already have two dogs and a ferret and weren’t sure if Tripod would fit into their fur family. So, the family went to lunch, had a family meeting, and decided to adopt Tripod
and bring him home with them.
Tripod is now living the good life and has fit right in with the rest of the family. He now has his forever family and will be cared for and loved for the rest of his life. We couldn’t
have asked for a happier ending!
