Donations and Monthly Giving

Friends of Bastrop County Animal Shelter is a non-profit 501c3 organization and receives no city, state, or federal funding and we rely solely on community donations. All donations are tax-deductible.

Any amount of donation at any time is so very important to the animals in our care. The Bastrop County Animal Shelter provides outstanding medical attention and care to all of the homeless animals that come through their doors.

Every donation counts. Every donation helps to make a difference in the lives of the animals that the Shelter cares for.

TRIBUTES

Celebrate someone special in your life by making a donation to Friends of Bastrop County Animal Shelter in their name. A tribute gift is a simple and thoughtful way to show your love and appreciation for a pet, family member, friend, co-worker, etc.

With each donation, we will send a notification letter to a family member or other individual you have designated – without specifying the amount of the donation. Also, tribute donations will be acknowledged, unless you request privacy, on our Tributes page on the Friends of Bastrop County Animal Shelter web site.

MEMORIALS

The death of a family member or close friend is one of life's most painful episodes. Those in mourning need support and most of us are anxious to find some way to offer comfort. One of the most appropriate and appreciated ways to express sympathy and compassion, as well as respect for the deceased, is by making a donation to a charity.

With each memorial donation, we will send a notification letter to a family member or other individual you have designated – without specifying the amount of the memorial. Also, memorial donations will be acknowledged, unless you request privacy, on our Tributes page on the Friends of Bastrop County Animal Shelter web site.

GIFTS FOR SPECIAL OCCASIONS

Are you looking for the perfect gift for a person who cares deeply about animals? Is it their birthday, anniversary or do you want to congratulate them for something special in their life? You can make a donation in their name to Friends of Bastrop County Animal Shelter!

Celebrating with special friends at an entertaining gathering can make any birthday even more enjoyable. When celebrating is your main goal, the gifts may not be your prime focus. MATCHING GIFTS PROGRAM

To find out if your employer participates in a matching gifts program, please check with your Human Resource department and ask for the proper forms. Then just fill in your portion, send it to us, and we'll do the rest! Many employers will even match gifts after you retire.
