Murphy

Murphy is a black cat that was born behind a fancy restaurant in Ohio. He came to us when he was 4 months old, very scared, but with a taste for good food. A tin of tuna holds no appeal; he would rather have the real thing. Memories of being fed the leftover food from that restaurant must still linger!

When we moved to Texas, flying wasn’t an option, as getting him into a carrying cage was nearly impossible. He would have run the first time we had to go through security at the airport. After the first few miles in the car he settled down and enjoyed the journey to his new home.

He finds life a little complicated, as the most unusual things upset him, and having asthma causes him to cough if he gets too frightened. We try to keep life simple for him and give him all the love he needs to keep him happy and healthy. He is seven years old now, so I guess we are doing something right.
